Emerald Coast Animal Hospital
While we are not a shelter and do not actively seek to re-home pets, we often find ourselves with several animals looking for new homes. We think it's important to find homes that are committed to a lifetime of happy and healthy love for any animal we adopt out. A basic adoption screening is standard before we will allow a pet to be adopted.
We often have several adoptable cats in the cat tower in our lobby. Adoptable dogs can often be found playing and socializing in the Canine Discovery Center. Check out our Facebook page, where we are more diligent about posting photos of adoptable animals.
We do charge a minimal adoption fee to adopt a pet through our practice. This fee helps to displace the cost of any necessary surgical or medical care needed to make the pet adoptable. Most often, this means spaying or neutering the pet and updating necessary vaccinations. Rarely, serious medical conditions may require a more substantial fee to cover costs. Please inquire on any adoption fees for the specific pet you're interested in adopting.
