Dr. Jim Culotta

Dr. Culotta is a graduate of Louisiana State University

(Geaux Tigers!).

He began working at the hospital in 1999, shortly after it opened.  

Dr. Culotta's special interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, avian and reptile medicine, dermatology and canine reproduction.

He is a member of the following veterinary associations:
  -  American Veterinary Medical Association
  -  American Animal Hospital Association
  -  Florida Veterinary Medical Association  
  -  Miracle Strip Veterinary Medical Society

Dr. Culotta enjoys spending time with his wife, Sharon, and two children, Kryket and Chase.  He has a host of pets, including dogs, cats, goats, parrots, peacocks, chickens, ponies and horses.  Dr. Culotta unwinds on the weekends by raising and training Welsh ponies and Trakehner horses. 



Dr. Erin Rockwell

Dr. Rockwell is a graduate of Virginia Tech.

She joined the Emerald Coast family in the summer of 2014.

Dr. Rockwell grew up on her family’s beef cattle farm in central Virginia.  She attended Virginia Tech for her Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences, and then stayed in Blacksburg to attend the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.  She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.  Her specials interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine.  

In her spare time, Dr. Rockwell loves to garden, is an avid wine enthusiast, and enjoys cooking delicious meals with her long-time boyfriend, Anthony.  Together, they have three cats to clean up after: Moses, Juniper, and Hamlet.
